Yes we played some shows this week which were really fun.

I am cat sitting two extra cats at the moment so there is a total of 4 cats in the wee little apartment which is very noisy at times with some hissing and looks of bewilderment in response from my big orange boy Reece who just wants to play and lick feet and tails!

You can see Reecy Reece here in the garden under animals and there is a pretty photo I took of me kissing Piper as well. She is not very happy with me at the moment!

It's going to be a crazy & fun summer.

We have over 50 shows booked between June and September in over
6 Provinces in Canada with the band. I can't wait for you to hear how
great the songs sound and meet the new musicians.

For the upcoming tour we will also be sponsored by some very special businesses who we feel are good for the earth and who will be keeping us healthy and looking our best while on the road. Their details will be added to the website soon including where you can find out more about them.

I will be finishing recording the new album later in the year with an estimated release of early 2007. It's been a bit of a hard slog to get the money to complete this project but I am confident that you will be glad I took my time to get it sounding just right. I have also been talking with Danny Michel about producing/working on some tracks so I am really excited about this possibility as his music is wonderful.

What else? Well I will be taking a break from long tours in October to do recording and some resting but in Nov/Dec I will be doing some little shows in ON/QC as part of my "in the winter dark" concert series with two other very special guests who will be announced at a later date.

Last thing. Expect to hear some poetry on the upcoming tour.
I am putting together a little poetry book which will be available at shows if you like my work and some of my photography might make an appearance as well!
